synopsis:

A satirical comedy that tells the story of Grand Fenwick, a fictional, microscopic European duchy that has had their sole economic resource pirated by a California manufacture. The resolution is clear: declare war on the United States! This is under the notion that the Duchy of Grand Fenwick will lose miserably, and be rehabilitated beyond their wildest dreams. But Tully Bascom, the plucky ranger of Grand Fenwick’s National Forest, is summoned to gallantly lead the charge into "battle," and no one, including the youthful Duchess Gloriana, imagined that Tully would fulfill his mission… and win! Part madcap comedy, part socio-economic and political satire; The Mouse That Roared is no less than a rollicking treatise on the powers of the underdog in a time of crisis… "regardless of the consequences!"
